Symbol Sharding: The Partition That Saves Burst Traffic

The problem: during a big print, one symbol (MU Wednesday) can be 40% of total message volume. A single fan-out loop chokes on it; every subscriber to every symbol waits behind Micron ticks.
The fix: shard by symbol. MU gets its own channel; AAPL's feed doesn't wait for MU's queue. The shard key is the ticker; the shard count is the subscriber fan-out.
The nuance: sharding by hash distributes evenly but breaks "priority symbols" — the top 20 tickers get dedicated shards, the rest share. During earnings, MU/NKE/ACN get dedicated lanes; everyone else shares the highway.
